Advocacy

As "Celiacs Helping Celiacs," CSA is a collection of concerned individuals, doing what we can to increase awareness
of celiac disease and gluten sensitivities and to advocate for those living a gluten-free lifestyle.
Please take a moment and see how you can join the effort and help spread the word.

Ways for you to advocate for celiac disease:

  • Participate in Awareness activities. Organize event(s) in your area promoting September 13th as Celiac Disease Awareness Day.
  • Write a Letter to a Food Manufacturer or a Letter to a Drug Manufacturer explaining your need for expanded ingredient labeling.
  • Join our forces and share your talent. Here's how you can help.
  • Educate yourself and share your knowledge at CSA's Annual Conference.

Participate in CSA-CAP:
The Celiac Awareness Program (formerly known as CSA-PEP) has completed its pilot phase. Over 200 physicians across the nation were personally presented the pilot version of PEP materials by a CSA member. Feedback will be obtained from those medical professionals who have received preliminary packets, to make necessary revisions prior to the major campaign.

CSA-CAP was established to promote celiac disease awareness and early diagnosis of celiac disease and gluten sensitivity through patient-to-physician contact.
