What is the Annual CSA Dietitian and Health Professional Program (formerly CSA Dietitian Day)?
The CSA Dietitian Program, held in conjunction with the annual CSA Conference, is an educational seminar for registered dietitians and health professionals interested in celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. Nationally known experts will provide current evidence-based research, education, and practice information for celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. This program is reserved for registered dietitians, although other medical professionals are welcome.
What is the CSA Conference Policy Statement?
Annual CSA Conference Policy Statement: The Annual CSA Conference is intended to showcase a variety of products appropriate to the celiac lifestyle. Items to be displayed, sold, promoted or advertised must meet the following criteria:
For gluten-free products (food, supplements, cosmetics)
- Products meet requirements for proposed FDA definition for voluntary gluten-free labeling and/or Codex Standard for Foods for Special Dietary Use for Persons Intolerant to Gluten (Codex Standard #118-1979)
- Products are listed in current or immediate past edition of The CSA Gluten-Free Product Listing
- Products bear the CSA Recognition Seal or other 3rd party gluten-free certification or endorsement (eg. GFCO certification, Celiac Society of Australia Endorsement)
For books, cookbooks, educational materials
- Prior approval for display/sales by the CSA national office, which may include approval by a member of the CSA Medical Advisory Board, when appropriate.
For research studies, company surveys, questionnaires
- Prior approval for disbursement by the CSA national office.
The exhibitor agrees not to display any such products, materials or documents that have not met the above criteria and will, at the direction of the CSA President or other authorized representative of CSA remove any such from the conference premises. Sales, solicitation, promotion or surveying of any kind by any party not registered as an Exhibitor will be considered trespassing and subject to expulsion from the conference premises.

How do I register for the Annual CSA Dietitian Program and General Conference?
The registration form can be detached from the CSA Lifeline I, 201 or can be printed from http://www.csaceliacs.org/ on the CSA Dietitian Day page. Fill out the form and:
- mail with your payment to Celiac Sprue Association, PO Box 31700, Omaha, Nebraska 68131
- or fax (1-402-643-4108) with credit card information
You can also register by calling 1-877-CSA-4-CSA with a credit card. Walk-ins will be able to register but the Dietitian Day lunch and materials may not be available
Is it necessary to pre-register?
Those who register early will receive the discount rate. Registration fees will increase 30% on 9/2/11.
On-site registration will be accepted. Fees will be based on the late registration. However, meals and materials for last minute registrants may be limited.
What is included in registration?
Registration includes admission to sessions, the Dietitian Day Handbook, links to download speaker presentations, lunch, as well as a CD of the CSA Gluten-Free Product Listing.
Will continuing education credits be available for attending DIETITIAN DAY?
Dietitian CPEUs: Application for 14 CPEUs has been approved through the American Dietetic Association’s Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Nurses/Nurse Practitioners Continuing Education (CE): Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #15817, for 12 Contact Hours.
Will there be infant and toddler care available during CSA DIETITIAN DAY?
Child care will not be available at Dietitian Day.
Will lunch and snacks be gluten-free?
Yes, the Dietitian Day lunch and snacks will be gluten-free.
Will there be transportation available between the airport and hotel?
There is shuttle transportation to and from the hotel/airport via Cloud 9 Super Shuttle. http://www.cloud9shuttle.com/ telephone number 1-800-974-8885. The cost is $12 dollars per person and approximately 6 miles from airport.
