CSA Plans a Home Run at the 2012 College World Series
The Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) is bringing gluten-free food and information to the 2012 NCAA College World Series experience beginning June 14th, 2012. CSA spreads awareness and education about celiac disease and gluten-related disorders as an integral part of the non-profit organization’s mission.
Involvement in the College World Series, an Omaha tradition for more than 50 years, is a perfect match for the Celiac Sprue Association, who in 1989 brought the national home office to Omaha. The chance to reach thousands of fans visiting CSA’s home city is a phenomenal opportunity to raise awareness about celiac disease and gluten-related disorders.
The Celiac Sprue Association booth will be located north of the Old Mattress Factory (501 N. 13th Street, Omaha, NE) and south of T.D. Ameritrade Park in the new indoor facility of Omaha’s Baseball Village. Find CSA and talk to the staff or a volunteer about celiac disease, grab some materials and some gluten-free snacks!
The Celiac Sprue Association is a trusted source of information about the gluten-free products consumers rely on and enjoy every day. In keeping with its founding principles, CSA amplifies members’ efforts for good health by encouraging quality nutrition, responsible business practices, scientific research, education, testing and outreach. Public health and food labeling policy solutions continue to develop through a genuine partnership with policymakers and other stakeholders.
